This was my final master’s project in Architecture Visualization, for which I selected the Tejocote House in Mexico, designed by González Muchow Arquitectura.
I opted for this project due to its diverse range of materials, textures, and volumes, which captivated me and was a challenge from which I knew I would learn a lot. Moreover, I believe it exemplifies the concept of “less is more”, a principle with which I deeply resonate.
In search of a more artistic final image, I leaned towards a lighting approach that exudes a touch of drama.
In this particular image, my goal was to work on the road material to make it feel as realistic as possible by adding intricate details such as dirt, gravel, oil stains, scattered leaves, worn paint and decal elements like the sewers.
